CNA (STNA) Training Program — Dayton Campus
Requirements to Enroll
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be 17 years of age or older
Present a valid state-issued photo ID and Social Security card (physical card required)
Complete a TB test as outlined in the Welcome Letter
 
Class Details
Schedule: Weekends Only
Dates: February 28 – March 29
Days: Saturdays & Sundays
Time: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Format: Hybrid — All lectures are completed online; skills labs and clinicals are held in person.
 
Program Phases
Phase 1 – Online Instruction
📅 February 28, March 1, 7, 8, & 14
Students must have reliable internet access.
Phase 2 – Skills Practice (In-Person)
📅 March 15, 21, & 22
Students should plan to be in class all day to complete required skills hours.
Phase 3 – Clinical Experience (In-Person)
📅 March 28 & 29

American Heart Association BLS CPR Certification

Additional Requirements
(Details reviewed during Orientation)
Two-step TB test due at orientation
TB tests completed within the last 6 months are acceptable
Black scrubs (student purchase)
Textbook & workbook (details provided in the Welcome Letter)
Reliable internet access for online coursework
 
Registration Process
After registering, you will receive a Welcome Letter with full orientation details.
Orientation attendance is required to begin class.
If you do not receive your Welcome Letter, please contact us immediately.
 
Certification Status After Graduation
Upon successful completion of the program, graduates will be classified as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program completers. Students will have one (1) year from their graduation date to take and pass the Ohio State STNA examination to become a State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA).
